KitaBina occasionally looks for instructors and workshop staff who love woodworking, and love teaching it just as much.
We are less interested in a certificate than in how you actually work with wood, and how you make a nervous beginner feel capable.
You can actually build, joinery, finishing, machine work. Learned on the job, self-taught, or formally trained, all count. We care about the work, not the paper.
A first-timer's wobbly cut, a kid who is scared of the saw, both need the same thing: someone calm who breaks it down and stays close until it clicks.
You clock a bad habit before it becomes an accident, and you teach the right one without making a beginner feel small for not knowing it yet.
The workshop should feel good to be in. We look for people who are naturally encouraging, easy to ask for help, and genuinely enjoy having others around.

Leads a program, sets the pace for the room, and holds the standard everyone else teaches to. Grown into from time spent assisting, not an entry point.
A non-teaching role helping run Bina studio's self-access sessions, checking members in, keeping the space and machines in order. Good for someone who loves the shop but isn't set on teaching.
