Reschedule & re-slot
Plans change, and we keep it simple. Every booking gets one free reschedule when you give us at least 7 days' notice before your session, that's when we commit your instructor. Move your date once, no charge.
- The same rule for every class. This reschedule policy is identical across all of our classes, one-off workshops, Fix-It-Yourself, Tool Training and Cabinet Making. Semester programs (Junior Woodworker, Kemahiran Hidup) run on their own make-up policy, see below. Pesta Bina festival tickets are the one exception, see the box below.
- After your free reschedule, or for any change made from 7 days down to 48 hours before your session, a re-slot fee of RM50 applies. It covers the time slot and instructor we set aside for you.
- Under 48 hours before a session, changes can't be made online, WhatsApp us and we'll help where we can.
- Reschedules are always subject to seat availability in the class or festival slot you move into.
- To reschedule, open your booking under Account and choose Reschedule (classes) or Change day or hour (Pesta Bina), or WhatsApp us and we will help.
- Pesta Bina group bookings move through your organiser, not this page, since the seats and any group discount belong to the whole block rather than to one ticket.
Pesta Bina festival tickets
Festival tickets follow their own rule, because the kit for every build is bought and cut before the festival opens.
- Your day and hour can be moved once, free, right up to 48 hours before your session. There is no re-slot fee on a festival ticket, and no earlier cut-off. Open your ticket under Account and choose Change day or hour.
- Your build cannot be changed. Every kit has already been bought and cut to its project, so a move keeps the same build and changes only the day and hour. This is permanent, not a deadline.
- A move is subject to room in the hour you are moving into, and the new hour must cost the same or less than the ticket you hold.
- Under 48 hours before your session, nothing can be changed online. WhatsApp us and we will help where we can.
- Group block seats are moved by us, not from your own account. Message us with your ticket number.
Missed a class / replacement
If you cannot make a session you have booked, tell us as early as you can so we can arrange a replacement.
- One-off workshops: reschedule to another date under the rule above. A no-show with no notice is forfeited.
- Semester programs (Junior Woodworker, Kemahiran Hidup): you get 2 free make-up classes per semester with at least 48 hours' notice. We slot you into another class of the same level that semester.
- Make-ups are taken within the same semester and depend on an open seat in another slot.
Cancellations & class credit
Cancel a booking and the value comes back as class credit on your account. We do not refund to your bank. Credit pays for any class we run: pick a date, tick Use my class credit at checkout, and it comes off the total.
- More than 7 days before your session, you get the full value as class credit, valid 12 months.
- From 7 days down to 48 hours before, class credit minus the re-slot fee applies.
- Under 48 hours before a session, or for a no-show, there is nothing to credit.
- If KitaBina cancels a session (instructor unavailable, too few sign-ups, studio closure), the full amount you paid comes back as class credit on your account, with no fee. It is good for 12 months and pays for any class we run, so you can take any other date. We WhatsApp you the amount and the date it runs out.
- Registration and graduation fees are not credited. Passes and credits are settled by pro-rating the unused balance as class credit.
- Class credit is not cash. It pays for classes on your account and we cannot pay it out.
